Perfect Hong Kong Transforming Dolls
I select ordinary popular culture archetypes such as little girl learning ballet, dating, wedding and pregnancy that were regarded as important stages and moments in a woman’s life, and transform the imagery into different media, together with materials with strong gender implication such as lace and plastic dolls. This transformation creates a set of visual language which is so universal and can be pickup easily by the public.
